Tips for Storing Vegetables

Here’s  some handy tips on storing your fresh vegetables.

  • Green vegetables will keep best in the fridge.
  • Roots and tubers should be stored in a cool, dark place.
  • Store mushrooms and other fungi in the fridge in a paper, not plastic, bag.
  • Don’t keep vegetables in plastic packaging as plastic does not ‘breathe’ so moisture forms, which will rot them.
